The Scottish Government has announced scholarships for young Pakistani women and girls. This program will provide financial support for women to study at any recognized university in Pakistan. Young women with disabilities, from rural areas, or from minority groups are especially encouraged to apply. The British Council will manage this scholarship program in Pakistan, working directly with selected students and universities.
The scholarships are available for:
- A four-year bachelor’s degree
- A two-year master’s or MPhil degree
The award will cover:
- Tuition fees
- University hostel cost (if applicable)
- Travel expenses for returning home- twice a year for students living on campus
The scholarship is available for studies in:
- Education
- Sustainable Energy
- Food Security and Agriculture
- Health Sciences
- STEM (for Master’s degrees only)
To be eligible, applicants must be:
- Pakistani women currently living in Pakistan.
- enrolled in one of the listed programs at an HEC-recognized university.
- Have a confirmed admission offer from the university.
- This is a fantastic chance for Pakistani women to advance their education and careers.
